Dr. Ellen Krumme treats you, her patient, the same way she treats her own family. Gently, and with kindness and concern. You're in good hands at Krumme Chiropractic!

Dr. Ellen KrummeCertified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Ellen Krumme has been a practicing Chiropractor since 1994, when she graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, where she received recognition for superior clinical proficiency. She has done extensive post-graduate work in the research and science of chiropractic and ergonomics. Dr. Krumme has also taught Anatomy and Physiology as well as other medical classes to nursing and health professional students for over a decade now, at various colleges in Cincinnati, including Raymond Walters, Cincinnati State, and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. When she is not busy taking care of patients or family matters, Dr. Krumme gives back to her community through volunteer work with the Lakota Optimists.

We believe that knowing and trusting your doctor is one of the most important parts of chiropractic care. Dr. Ellen Krumme has many years of chiropractic experience. She takes the time to listen to you so that your needs are understood. Her post-graduate research has equipped her with the specific knowledge she needs to help you; and growing up in a close-knit and loving family has likewise equipped her with a wealth of compassion and levelheaded common sense.

Dr. Krumme has always been drawn to the health field, and from a very early age had a strong desire to become a doctor. However, she could not see herself as a medical doctor. The solution appeared when her brother was studying to be a Chiropractor, and she went to visit his school. That was when she realized that the Chiropractic philosophy was more compatible with what she believed health should be. "It isn't that medicine is bad," she says, "it certainly has saved many people's lives; I just happen to believe medicine and medical techniques/interventions are often used far too quickly when other, more natural methods are available. This is how I practice medicine and also how I live my life."

Dr. Krumme has lived in Cincinnati all of her life, except while she was in college. "I love this city," she smiles, "and especially the northern suburbs." Dr. Krumme is married, and has three children: a son in college, a daughter who is a senior in high school, and another son in fifth grade. All of these children are Chiropractic kids and have been adjusted since birth. They are very healthy and have had little need for antibiotics in their lives. "I attribute this to a lifelong regimen of regular chiropractic adjustments, proper nutrition, and supplementation with quality vitamins. I'm telling you this," Dr. Krumme offers, "because this is what I do for my family, and I want to make it clear that I would do no less for my patients."

Not sure if Chiropractic care is appropriate for the health issue you are dealing with? "The conditions I have been called upon to treat," Dr. Krumme reassures, "run the gamut from headaches to neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and many more." She goes on to say, "I once heard a wise, older Chiropractor say: 'Chiropractic can't help everything but it can help anything.' You just don't know what effect keeping the nervous system healthy can have on a person's overall health and well-being!"
